Sierrezuela Villa

Undoubtedly the most exclusive villa ever constructed by Jack Klauwers over a period of 2 years commencing in 1985 and with a surface area of 680 m².

All floors were chosen in the Barcelona area for its special quality clay tiles and transported to Mijas, after placing them, they were treated with products that came from Southern France to give them an ancient hue.

There are 5 Bedrooms with their own bathrooms. The living room, measuring 92 m². was constructed with a self supporting roof made of antique wood beams that were brought from a demolished bodega , this space has a large minstrel balcony overlooking the entire living room and has large covered terraces around it's perimeter. In this room we placed a enormous fireplace made in Cardedeu (Barcelona) cut from a special stone to a design made by Jack and assembled by his workmen.

All the doors are made to his design by his carpenter and decorated by a centre carving.

The five bedrooms are all different, some with wood beam ceilings, others with special plaster-of-Paris covings and moulds, and the master bedroom with it's own open fireplace. All the bedrooms have their own bathrooms, the main bathroom has a round bath and a centre dome with indirect lighting situated above this.

The kitchen furniture is built by Jack´s own carpenters with a centre cooking island, set off this is the dining room with its own balcony.

Double garage, bodega, workshop and sauna are in the basement area.

The exterior swimming pool has a surface area of approx. 60 m².
